Olive IRL is committed to building an experience that is usable by everyone, regardless of ability. This applies to both the iOS app and this website.

iOS app

The Olive IRL app is built on SwiftUI, which integrates natively with iOS accessibility features.

• VoiceOver: All interactive elements are labeled and navigable with VoiceOver.
• Dynamic Type: All text scales with the system font size setting, including larger accessibility sizes.
• Increase Contrast: The app's warm color palette maintains WCAG AA contrast ratios at standard sizes.
• Reduce Motion: Animations are reduced when the system Reduce Motion setting is enabled.
• Touch targets: All interactive elements meet the 44×44 point minimum touch target size.
• Face ID and Touch ID: Biometric authentication is available and follows iOS system behavior.

This website

This website is built with semantic HTML and is navigable by keyboard. We are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance.

• All images include descriptive alt text
• Color is never the sole means of conveying information
• Interactive elements are focusable and labeled
• Text resizes without loss of content or function

Known limitations

We are still a small team and acknowledge that some parts of our experience may not yet meet every accessibility standard. We are actively working to improve this. If you encounter a specific barrier, please let us know so we can prioritize it.
