Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Olive IRL, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Olive IRL.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Olive IRL. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You are not currently in a committed romantic relationship or marriage
• You are using the app with genuine intent to seek a serious, faith-grounded relationship
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• You are not prohibited from using dating services under any applicable law

Olive IRL is a Christian community built on honesty, sincerity, and respect. By joining, you agree to:

• Represent yourself honestly: use real photos and accurate information
• Treat all other users with dignity and respect
• Use the app only for its intended purpose: finding a serious relationship
• Not engage in harassment, threats, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior
• Not impersonate another person or create a false identity
• Not share explicit, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate content
• Not use Olive IRL for commercial solicitation, spam, or advertising
• Not attempt to scrape, harvest, or collect other users' data

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@oliveirl.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not share your account credentials with anyone or allow others to access your account.

You retain ownership of the content you post on Olive IRL (photos, prompts, messages). By posting content, you grant Olive IRL a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the service.

You represent that you have the right to post any content you submit, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

We do not review content before it is posted, but we reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or our community standards.

You may include your social media handles in your profile. You are solely responsible for any interactions that occur outside of Olive IRL as a result. Olive IRL is not responsible for content on external platforms.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms, our community standards, or that receives repeated verified reports from other users. Users whose accounts are terminated for violations may be prohibited from creating new accounts.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your profile, matches, and messages are permanently removed.

Olive IRL+ is a paid subscription that unlocks premium features. Available billing intervals are weekly ($4.99), monthly ($14.99), and annual ($119.99). Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. All billing, refunds, and subscription management are handled by Apple. To manage or cancel your subscription, visit your Apple ID subscription settings.

We do not offer refunds for unused subscription periods.

Olive IRL provides a platform for meeting people, but we cannot guarantee that you will find a match, a relationship, or any particular outcome. Use of Olive IRL is at your own discretion and risk.

Olive IRL is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, whether online or offline.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Olive IRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury arising from your use of the service or interactions with other users.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012) and other applicable Philippine statutes. Any disputes arising from your use of Olive IRL shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through the appropriate courts or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms available under Philippine law.

If you are using Olive IRL from another country, you agree that Philippine law applies and that you use the service at your own discretion in accordance with your local laws.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of Olive IRL after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
